Day 51: 34 Weeks Gestation

James nursed 12 cc in the morning, and 14 cc in the afternoon. His feeds are up to 48 cc total, so although he's doing well, he has a long way to go.

He gained 3 ounces and is a little puffy again, so more Lasix, and he'll be on a maintenance diuretic for the next couple of weeks. He had a little trouble breathing last night so the nasal cannula came back, but he pulled it out today so they left it out. So far so good.

It's hard to know when he'll come home, since getting the hang of eating by mouth will take time. It'll be a couple of weeks at the very least, hopefully by the end of the month...
